GREAT NIGHT – ADIOS 2014/15 SEASON
Thanks to the 100+ members who attended the AGM & Presentation evening last Friday. It was a fitting finale for the year, with lots of laughs and memories of the 2014/15 season. 

After the business of the AGM was over, we were treated to great food, great company and lots of laughs with our comedy MCs Vicki & Griffo. 

Anne Grundy and Phil Benoit were inducted as life members of the club. Congratulations to you both, it was well-deserved. Although it was hard to prise Phil away from the microphone to give him the award! (Just kidding Phil – it was a great motivational speech for both junior and senior club members). 

The usual awards were given out for notable members of the season.

Many thanks to all those who travelled down for the Club Champs 2015, whether you competed, volunteered, cheered, supported, took photos, babysat etc, etc. Congratulations on doing your bit for the club and contributing to a great weekend. Special thanks to Mick Maley and Michelle Clarke for organising the catering and of course to Vicki Tillot. What can we say? We are very fortunate to have Vicki in our club.

We may have awoken a few sleeping bears after going so close last year, as the Sydney Clubs arrived in full flight. Still, Country Champs is another very proud moment in our Club’s history. A quick check of the records show that over the last sixteen years the competition has been in place, Coffs has triumphed nine times.  

A few highlights, Dr Paul Dance giving up a quite a few places to assist a distressed member from another club on the run leg, only to be passed by his “patient” a little further on. Nicole Martin’s effort in the Eno challenge at the post function. That was true commitment. 

And lastly our Tunnel of Love stretched for nearly twenty metres welcoming and cheering our club members and a few other clubs’ members across the finish line. 
 
Don’t forget our AGM and presentation on Friday the 29th, hope to see you all there.

2015/16 TA MEMBERSHIP AUTO RENEWAL
Please be aware that on 1st July 2015 your membership to TA will be automatically renewed for the 2015/16 season and your credit card will be charged the relevant fee.

Junior members, members who joined as a family, and those that elected not to have their membership automatically renewed will not have their membership automatically renewed.  These Members will be sent an email reminding them that their 2014-15 Membership is expiring and that Membership Fees for 2015-16 are due on July 1st.

Whilst 1st July is the start of the new membership year, new members can join from the 1st June and existing members can renew early if they want to (via their portal).

CLUB CHAMPS THIS WEEKEND!!!
Only a few more sleeps to go before the big event.  Everything has been organised, rooms booked, beds allocated, pizzas ordered & beer on its way!
Room allocations as and the bus list & a general info sheet with everything you need to know about the weekend has been emailed.  If anyone or anything has been missed please let Vicki know ASAP ([email protected]). 
As most people are driving, if anyone has a spare seat in their car or would like a lift again please let Vicki know & she will pass on details to the others.
