After trialling the 100 minute handicap and listening to feedback from our club members regarding safety, the committee have decided to trial a wave start at the next Club race meeting. We will be trialling this system over the next few race meetings to compare with the 100 minute handicap and will be asking members to give any feedback the committee as to the safety of our members, particularly our young competitors out on the road. The new wave system will be as follows:
SUNDAY RACE REPORT
What a fantastic race last Sunday. Thanks to all of the competitors who made the extra effort to get into the 'Race of Love' theme. It was a lot of fun with a few chuckles and head shakes as the costumes developed. Sunday was our biggest club race this season, and looking back over our records it looks like the biggest turnout we have ever had at a club race. 120 starters on the long course and 24 on the short course. It’s the first time we have had to put up 11 bike racks - many thanks to the duty volunteers and competitors for helping set that up at the last minute.
Greetings Tri Club Members

Great to see so many new members. The times recorded is testament to the hard training regimes and commitment by members. No major incidents were reported.
Eszter Hortobagyi was the first across the line followed by Iliane Beuke in the ladies. Newcomer, Chris Stevens and Michael Singleton were first and second over the line in the men.
