Weekly Newsletter "Special Bulletin"

Hi CHTC members
We have the chance to assist a fellow triathlete compete at the Ironman in Kona this October Terry Kennedy faced many a hurdle to start and finish the Melbourne Ironman back in March.  Terry’s courageous journey was featured in Ironman special shown on TV a few weeks after the event. We all have the chance to assist him getting to Kona.  Please read the email from Terry below and cast your vote
Hi All,

Just wanted to ask a small favour and that is to click on the link (90sec video) below and vote! That’s it, it costs nothing! Just need you to click on the link and hit vote!
Why?
I’ve made it through to the final round of voting as one of the most inspirational stories this year (overcoming a stroke & heart attack at 33 temporarily losing the ability to walk, talk and see as well as some other family issues to finish the Melbourne Ironman earlier this year). I am now into the final round and it is the chance for me to represent those suffering an acquired brain injury and heart attack at the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. A 3.8km swim followed by a 180km ride followed by a 42.2km marathon. Voting is from 29th June – 7th July. The top 2 vote getters go to the World Championships!
If you have read this far you are hopefully interested so please click on the link and press “vote”. You can actually vote once per day so appreciate you voting over the next 7 days (you don’t even have to watch the video, just ensure you click vote).
The “vote” button is located at the bottom left of the screen in the video for desktop and bottom of the screen (red button) for mobile.

*As a side, if you could possibly also share the link on your Facebook page would be awesome (sorry to ask) but that way we can reach a few more!
I will let you know how I go. Thanks for the support
Terry Kennedy
