First female over the line in the long course was Maria Rosewood followed by Elora Croaker. First male across the line was Stephen Thompson followed by Bryan Vanderwalt. There were lots of novices racing with medals presented after. Hopefully they had a good day despite less than optimal conditions. A fabulous barbeque after was appreciated by all. Duty Duty Duty,
We have a number of gaps in the duty roster for the remaining races this year. If you still have not put your name down for a duty please get online and fill one of the spots asap. The committee would prefer not to allocate duty’s to people but that time is getting closer if the spots stay un filled. You only have to do one for the whole year and this season there is an amazing prise for best duty person. The BCU Tri is only four months away. Mick and Sinclair from Village Sports will need volunteers from our club to support the kids day which is Saturday 5th March. If your not intending on racing on the main event on the Sunday - then Im sure they could use your assistance as a volunteer then as well. Mick will be at our club races starting around Christmas, asking for volunteers to sign up for a time slot. This is a great event in our own backyard.
