Wow, the Coffs Coast turned the weather on for Race 2 of the Coffs Harbour Tri Club season. Firstly, a huge shout out to our two sponsors for today's race, PhysAbility NSW and Advanced Automotive Services. Also thank you to our volunteers, without you we don't race. A total of 49 athletes spread across a wide range of age groups took on the Sprint, Super Sprint, Aquathon, Aquabike and Mixed distance options. This shows we really do have something for everyone. Check out the race results here: https://www.racetecresults.com/results.aspx?CId=20260&RId=48 Some amazing results in Race 2 on what was a much faster course than Race 1. Well done to athletes who stepped up from the Super Sprint last race and took on the Sprint option. Fastest female and male athletes today were: Ann-Louise Scheepers with 113.57 and Patrick Brennan with 107.44 Welcome to our new club member Sig Jagers who came all the way down from west Dorrigo to race. From all reports, she had a ball! We also had seven one day licence athletes: Abbey Richards Paul Killey Jacinta Pfeffer Lauren Day Kate Jackson Robyn Gaskell Emma Power We hope you all had a great day racing and would love to see you back next race. Please consider becoming part of the Coffs Tri Club family - reach out if you need any support. We now have a new points scoring format which is scored within age groups. Here's how it all works: http://www.coffstri.com/results.html You even get a bag of points for volunteering so make sure you put your hand up to tick that box off your season. Our next race in 2 weeks is the Men's 'bring a mate' event. All proceeds are going to Lifeline North Coast. Even if you are a member you still need to register, please see the link here. https://triathlonaustralia.justgo.com/Workbench/i/r/public/EventsAndBookingsPublic/details/E403500FB1471D83CE8A11818A065F679F25E4FD/ Lads, ask around, do you know a swimmer, a cyclist, a runner, or even someone just wanting to get out and try something new? This is the event. From 13 years and up we will cater for everyone. Any questions please reach out. Well that's a wrap on Race 2. Well done to everyone who swam, rolled and ran around today, see you all in two weeks for the Men's event. Kind regards, Ado
