August 2007 Newsletter

Just a few details about this season which will be under way in Sept. 07 (see race calendar)

• Club uniforms will be available this season at Ventoux Cycles in Coffs Harbour & Woodseys Wheels at Woolgoolga.They will be sold at the same price as you would buy them at the races. We will also have them available at the club BBQ race days during the season.
• Sign on days will be the 12th & 19th August at the Pet Porpoise pool from 7am to 9am, plus a training duathlon over a 1.5, 18 & 5K on both days.There will also be sign on available at the Blueberry Duathlon on the 26th August. If you are unable to make these days Anne Grundy will do some from home, but you will need to contact her on 66524865 to organise a suitable time. Please try to sign up on the set days as it makes it easier than on the 1st race day.
• If you have signed up before the 1st race in September, you will receive a New Look club t-shirt, which you can order at sign up.
• This season if you are not a CTC & trinsw member it will cost $10 for the 1st race & $20 any race after this, so please make sure you get both your memberships done.
• This season you will be able to score more race points if you race at Woopi Tri{ or help out], race at Trial Bay Tri, race or volunteer at the NSW Club champ's, or help out at the Ocean Swims. 5 points per event.
• At registration you must also nominate a race duty day and if you are unable to, it is your responsibility to replace yourself or swap.If you do another duty you will receive another 5 points.
• Information on the Bendigo Bank Triathlon and Red Rock Fun Run

RedRock Triathlon

The RedRock Triathlon which is scheduled for 30th of September. Great opportunity to shake off the winter cobwebs and support the RedRock/Corindi Surf Club.

Looking For A Used Road Bike

Hi all,

I have a friend looking for a used road bike, only probably looking at spending up to around $500. He is about 6 foot tall, so will probably want a 58. If anyone has anything they're looking to sell please let me know.
